Last month, I found this place on yelp and was intrigued by the overall good reviews. During the first visit, a friend and I enjoyed pasta and garlic rolls which were tasty. The table next to us had a mouth-watering speciality pizza delivered just as we were leaving. It looked so tempting, I knew it would only be a matter of time before my next visit. Tonight, my entire family had a craving for pizza. Finally, I had an opportunity to return! Unfortunately, this trip was not enjoyable. The dining room only had a few tables occupied upon our arrival. The waitress took our order and returned with the drinks and rolls quickly. That was the high point of the evening. The tables began to fill up and time kept passing. After 45 minutes, I called the waitress over to inquire why other tables were being served ahead of us. She apologized but stated the kitchen keeps telling her that our large sausage pizza was "in the oven". My patience was wearing thin as my 8 year-old was getting understandably upset by the delay. She promised the food would be out in a "few minutes". Fifteen minutes later, the food arrived and it was underwhelming. The sausage was skimpy and crust was like cardboard. The manager approached the table to ask how everything was. We explained our dissatisfaction. The manager apologized and admitted the pizza kitchen was unusually busy (although that was not an excuse). She offered a 20% discount. I replied, "You may do whatever you feel is best, but that won't make me want to return" The waitress overhead the exchange and may have felt embarrassed because she did not return to the table. She had to be flagged down just to get refills. She returned with the drinks and stated there would be no charge for the dinner. In summary, 3 stars is a polite representation of the first visit only. If you dine here, stick to the pasta and forget the pizza.

Just ok...have tried several times now. Chicken parmigian: cutlet not pounded thin, very thick, chewy and a bit dry. Red sauce is just that bit too sweet... Other diner had/liked veal piazziola. Did not care for shrimp scamp as it's served in a bowl. Pizza is ok. Someone below said no alcohol, but you can bring your own wine, which cuts costs.

Can always get great food. Bring your own wine for dine in. Food is always consistent. Nice place to have some great Italian food. Oh and the pizza is great.

Fantastic Italian food! The pizza, chicken parmigiana and eggplant are all wonderful. I'm a fan of their red sauce too. It's slightly sweet, but that's how I like it. I always get delivery and its super fast.

This place is EXCELLENT! It rocks like a magic kiss. I was down there visiting my Grandmother and she took me there last Friday. They give you a ton of food and it's so cheap. Thanks again Grandma!

One of those great family pizza places where you have to bring your own wine. How can you have italian without a little vino? Giant pizza, friendly service and great take out.

Since Lorenzo's had to leave the Publix plaza because of high rent, I had to find an alternative Italian restaurant in the neighborhood. So to get my fix, I began ordering from Bella Roma. I don't know how many chefs they have, but it's hit or miss when you get pizza delivered and I usually order takeout from them 4-5 times a month. I like my pizza done, but not charred and burnt like I bought recently. Maybe a quick wipe down of their oven with a damp cloth would prevent this from happening. The pizza is usually good when not over baked. If I wanted my food blackened, I would let my sister cook. I guess I'll switch to Red Baron when it's BOGO at Publix so for now, Bella gets two stars.

Had two large pizzas and some wings delievered. Honestly a little pricy so doubt I'll be going often but the food was great. My perfect pizza, not too greasy or saucy, crunchy yet soft crust, and fresh toppings. Can't wait to order more! :)

In our quest to find a few solid pizza places around Coconut Creek...we tried Bella Roma. They have take out and dine in options...we called the order in and picked it up. The wings were really good. Large pieces with lots of flavor. We were hopeful as we dug into the pizza. The pizza was a letdown. The sauce was 'slightly sweet' which we are not fans of. The cheese was a strange mixture. It wasn't 'stingy' when you pulled it...it kind of 'webbed'. We also tasted a lot of salt. We did have left overs that actually tasted better 'cold' the next day. Wierd. Overall...we'd skip going back.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the food here. The tomato sauce is very sweet and flavorful and I have tried many dishes here. If the food wasn't so darn good, I would not put up with the following issues: Decor : It is very outdated and dark, with a black ceiling as well as black walls. There is fake brick on one wall but its falling off. You also have a nice view of the toilets from certain tables. Snowbirds/Tourists: for about 6 months of the year, I can't even get a table or a parking spot nearby. All the snowbirds from Montreal and Quebec are here and it gets extremely loud in the small restaurant. I mean VERY LOUD. When I can, I will place an order to go. Oh and they all come in groups of 6 or more, so getting a table for 2 or 4 is almost impossible. Service: most of the time the service is terrible and I think its because there are too few servers for the demands of the snowbirds. Even the people answering the phones and working the front counter are overwhelmed and might not acknowledge you for 10 minutes.

Food was very good with large portions. Service was good, had trouble keeping the water glasses filled. Prices were in line with other Italian restaurants although I have never understood why a plate of pasta with sauce and cheese cost $13.95. The restaurant tables and general seating made it feel crowded and chaotic, although this didn't bother me or my family I could see how this maybe a problem for others. It was very loud in the restaurant and to maintain a conversation at your table required near yelling at the large table for six. We will definitely return.

While vacationing, my droid locator found Bella Roma to be 'nearby'. I searched some reviews and found that nearly everyone seemed to rate this place very good. So, we ventured to Bella Roma. The outside is vey unassuming, just off the road, next to a hair place and a Jamaican restaurant. When you walk in the door, the kitchen is to the immediate left, and seating area to the right. We were immediately greeted and told to sit where we'd like. The dining area has brick walls and great framed prints of NY. We chose a booth and the waitress arrived in seconds. We ordered sodas and the waitress asked us if we wanted bread (YES!) we soon received 6 freshly made bread knots, half garlic and half plain. They were BRILLIANT! Husband ordered lasagna, which turned out to be a huge portion of homemade wonderfulness! I ordered Chicken Picatta on angel hair and it too was pure wonderful! I hate to say, I eat out all the time, and have eaten everywhere... This food was truly amazing and fabulously tasty! If this place where near me in VA, I'd be here for dinner everyday! Realy awesome! This is a diamond in the rough (based on it's location). Highly recommend!!!! Ooh,and the best part, we received salad, entree, drink and dessert (1) for only $26 for two!!!

Excellent pizza and pasta dishes. My only complaint was the hostess. She was very rude, never smiled and seemed preoccupied with her phone and checking herself in the mirror every 2 minutes.

I came to Bella Roma due to the nearby search on the IOS yelp app and boy was the place a nice joint! However, my girlfriend and I got the short end of the stick. The place was at its worst game when it came to serving us. On a weekday afternoon with only four tables occupied, I had to go to the counter and ask for a waiter after waiting at a booth for half an hour. The appetizers took almost 40 minutes to show up and our pizza took almost another hour to appear! Our waiter was nice but avoided us when we showed her the entree coupon one can get from checking in. a waiter from another table was the only one that helped us (I tipped him well for that). The wait for the pizza was definitely not worth it. The Hawaiian pizza we ordered was sub-par and fell apart when you tried to lift up a slice. Also, we found bits if plastic in it. We ended up just dumping the pizza after we left (we waited at the restaurant but decided to take the pizza to go from the long wait) If you plan on going to Roma, make sure you're assertive--we were there waiting before two other clients who were given their orders 10 minutes after they were served. Also, please get the guy that has black hair and no glasses for a waiter, he seems to be the only one that actually cares for the customer. Also, there is a $5 charge for "sharing" to any pizza you buy! Seriously, what pizza parlor does that!?

If there was a way to rate this place a ten I would! The staff is awesome food is perfect! You can bring your own beer or wine because they don't serve alcohol. Anyone who rates less than a 5 is mad! Lol!!! I'm a fan! Go Bella Roma! Delivery is also great!!!

My wife and I were headed to Butterfly World and decided we wanted Pizza. Bella Roma is in my mind a perfect family-run pizza shop that is hard to find nowadays. We had 16" pepperoni pizza. What a wonderful pizza, not one of these bland, big chain delivery pizza. This is the pizza I want every day. The wife was surprised we finished it all. Not me, I would have had the whole pizza, it was that good. For dessert we got a full order of the Zeppolis to go. They were great later, just amazing when we had two at the table as we paid the bill. If you are in the area, I recommend getting pizza here.

  • Sam P.

For starters, i wouldn't say this place is "so cheap." There are some coupons to get a cheap price on a cheese pizza for pick up or delivery. This is probably what we should have done on a night when i was craving some pizza and a beer since THEY DO NOT SERVE ALCOHOL. i thought that it is an important tidbit to pass along. We ordered the house special pizza and it did turn out to be really tasty. The 18 inch or whatever the largest size was cost $20.95. They come as 8 big slices or they'll cut it in to 16. Service was good, the place was packed. It's located next to the Dairy Queen in a little strip.

Love this place. I can think of a place in Margate that has pizza that can even compare. Definitely one of the best places in Broward for Pizza and Italian food. Good service, delivery is timely and the food is consistently awesome.

The first meal that I have when I go visit my grand parent is my calzone. They over load it with cheese and I am sure they put sugar in the sauce. It is all so good. And I can't forget about the garlic buns they give you at the beginning of the meal

  • Robert C.

This place delivered the most disgusting linguini & white clam sauce I have ever had. The pasta was so over cooked & the clam sauce was pasty. How the hell do you screw up white clam sauce?????

Reading the reviews I just have to wonder, where in the world where they eating at? For sure it was not a 5 star gastronomic restaurant that is for sure. What is it? It is a very casual typical family restaurant that servers ok food. And the look of the restaurant was ok and typical down to its fake bricks. The food are large in portion and good in taste. There was nothing that was going to wow you, but it will do to stratify. Their claim to fame is the pizza. I have read the other reviews about it, but to echo like I said before, what pizza were you eating? For sure it is not the best in South Florida not to mention that of New York, but it was again passable being a good pie. This was an ok restaurant, nothing to write home about, it was just nice. Kudos for the restaurant being successful as it is. Cheers!

Friendly, helpful, upbeat service in a neighborhood family restaurant atmosphere make Bella Roma a great choice for a casual lunch or dinner. The portions are generous. And the price is right. Only the salad lagged behind the quality of the rolls, pasta, and dessert -- but overall, Bella Roma is first rate.

Best pizza in south Florida. My boyfriend and I moved to coconut creek from bayside, ny and we are pizza fanatics like every other New Yorker or human being. The sauce is on the sweeter side but it's delicious. Every Tuesday is $9 large pie night and we order in every week. We often order once more on another night for the veal francese and chicken roll. The chicken roll is huge and on garlic bread. Like an entire loaf. Foods ALWAYS awesome.

Delicious food. The chicken parmesan is amazing! My friends always get the chicken porcini(spelling?) and every time they love it. We always get delivery which always arrives in a reasonable amount of time. Next time I will eat at the restaurant to see how that is. Their pizza is also ALWAYS delicious. yummy yummy!

I am not big on pizza; however, when I first tried their cheese pizza... I was blown away by the incredible taste. Large pizza slices with booming marinara and cheese flavor. I also had the Fried mozzarella... Again delicious! Rich mozzarella cheese. Surprisingly they offer a gluten-free pizza. But it comes in a personal pan size. That pizza also taste great. My only complaint would be the size. I love the barbecue sauce they use for their wings. The wings are good but I didn't enjoy them as much as leftovers the next day. This restaurant is located in a convenient spot. On the inside it looks very cozy. The customer service is okay. When I go, I tend to see the same faces so that's a good thing.

First timer. Ordered ziti with chicken and heavy garlic--menu said made with chicken broth. I prefer olive oil but did not want to materially alter the dish, although requested substitution of whole wheat. Very large portion served in large bowl. Spaghetti pasta (not ziti) was overcooked to the point of mush. The bowl was swimming in an oily concoction that I poured off into the empty cup from the chicken pastina soup which was ok, but not hearty. My salad was right out of the spring mix bag, with one slice of cuke and a small tomato wedge--boring. On the bright side--service by Ben was attentive, garlic rolls were good and wife loved her tester dish chicken parm. Ambience is nice for neighborhood place, and no one could ever go home hungry. Place has potential but needs to use fresh garlic not stuff in the jar swimming in oil.

Finally a great tasting pizza!!!!! I'm not what you call a "pizza connoisseur", but must say their pizza and pasta fagioli soup were phenomenal. Don't let this little facade fool you, this restaurant is quit large inside, but so far their food speaks volume. Definitely worth the drive ;)

Average and a bit dirty. My wife had lasagna. Nothing special. I had veal parmigiana sub and I still cannot find an Italian restaurant that knows how to get the sauce correct. Also, the veal could have been a little more succulent, tender. I would say they slightly over cooked it. Nice service.

Best italian lunch specials in the area, great price and very generous portions. Friendly staff and delivers food in a timely manner even on busy days. The pizza is the best in the area, never any complaints.

The first meal that I have when I go visit my grand parent is my calzone. They over load it with cheese and I am sure they put sugar in the sauce. It is all so good. And I can't forget about the garlic buns they give you at the beginning of the meal

Cheers!

Love this place, great food and great service. I took my girlfriend there and she loved it. It's a traditional clean Italian modernized place with great food.

Love this place. I can think of a place in Margate that has pizza that can even compare. Definitely one of the best places in Broward for Pizza and Italian food. Good service, delivery is timely and the food is consistently awesome.

About Taco Bell

Taco Bell is a haven for Mexican delicacies such as tacos, quesadillas, burritos, nachos, and other specialty items. Owned by Yum! Brands, Inc. Taco Bell is one of the fastest growing American chains of fast food restaurants. The restaurant operates from 7,072 different locations which are mostly run by independent franchisees and licensees.

The background story of Taco Bell is interesting and inspiring for budding entrepreneurs. The fast-food brand is the brainchild of Glen Bell, who started his first food venture as a hot dog seller in San Bernardino, California. The year was 1948. After witnessing long queues outside a Mexican restaurant called Mitla Café across the street, Bell saw the opportunity and demand for hard-shelled Tacos. He reverse-engineered the recipe and later started selling Tacos and called the venture Taco-Tia.

Later, the name changed from Taco-Tia to El Taco. Eventually, Glen Bell sold the company to his partner and opened the first Taco Bell in Downey in 1962. By 1964, the restaurant also got its first franchise in Torrance. The 100th Taco Bell restaurant was opened by 1965. PepsiCo acquired Taco Bell from Glen Bell in 1978 and the restaurant brand is currently a subsidiary of Yum! Brands which looks after the restaurant business of PepsiCo.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
